TIPS FOR REMOVING FINGERNAIL
POLISH & LACQUER STAINS: Stains caused by lacquer, including
fingernail polish, can be removed from most fabrics except acetate,
by sponging with acetone. Use chemically pure amyl acetate for
fabrics that will not stand acetone. Nail polish remover may
also be used but it may contain acetone. Test before using
it on materials that may be damaged by acetone*.

- *NOTE: Some products like hydrogen peroxide, or alcohol
can actually bleach or change the color in some fabrics. Read
the WARNING notice below and proceed with caution whenever you
use such products.

applying a small amount of the cleaning solution or chemical
on a hidden or unnoticeable area. The tips listed here are NOT
guaranteed to work in every case and may have a negative affect.
